What I'm Working On

Submitted by Michelle

Valarie is here this weekend. (If you don't know who Valarie is click here to read more.) We've been crafting and stamping and getting in lots of girl time. It is a treat to have here her for so many reasons. First of all, I love having friends around, especially my front row center friends. Secondly, she is a Stampin' Up! demonstrator too and she brings new ideas and perspective to card making. Yesterday, when I was teaching Valarie the ins and outs of chipboarding she pointed out a card in the Stampin' Up! Fall/Winter Idea Book that she'd been wanting to make. I'd looked at it many times but never wanted to attempt making it. It seemed too time consuming. But, as the saying goes, many hands make light work. Val and I made the card in a matter of minutes. OK, maybe not mere minutes, but in less than a half hour. Cute, right?

All Materials from Stampin' Up!
cardstock: Bashful Blue, Whisper White
craft inks: Only Orange, Bashful Blue, Certainly Celery, Old Olive, Brilliant Blue, White
ribbon: Tangerine Tango striped grossgrain
chipboard: On Board Essentials
stamp sets: Crazy for Cupcakes, Polka Dot Background
